Shutters come in a range of opening systems, including fixed, hinged, sliding and bi-folding.All internal paint used is UV and mildew resistant, resulting in a durable, smooth coating that won't fade or discolour.  This makes North Shore Shutters ideal for allergy sufferers. North Shore Shutters use quality stainless steel tracking and UV rated nylon components.

WESTERN RED CEDAR SHUTTERS:

Western Red Cedar is a lightweight timber with a smooth finish and superior durability. Recommended for internal or external use including wide openings. Colour matching available at no additional charge. It is heat efficient and has the ability to dampen vibrations to provide important acoustic properties. Western Red Cedar shutters are made using mortice and tenon joints to avoid warpping.  Available in a wide range of colours including custom colour.

ARTWOOD PLANTATION SHUTTERS

Artwood shutters are made from an extremely durable Cedar core, wrapped in a tough PVC coating, ensuring your shutters can withstand the rigours of Todays's busy lifestyle.  With all the character of genuine wood shutters without the expenese. Reinforced engineered stiles with multiple layers of wood bonded together to reinforce stability from the core of the stile which ensures a robust and durable shutter panel.   For internal use only. Ideal for bathrooms and kitchens as it is moisture resistant.  Available in a choice of 5 standard colours or custom colour for a surcharge.

ALUMINIMUM PLANTATION SHUTTERS

High durability, recommended for internal or external use. Designed to span larger widths. Using the hightest quality powdercoat finishes, to create maintenance free durability and style to your home.  Available in white, off white, anodized or black. Colour matching is available for an additional charge.  Aluminium shutters are wind rated up to 180km / hr.

BASSWOOD & POPLAR SHUTTERS

Our most popular product. This is a slow growing, robust hardwood timber offering a smooth finish. The timber is treated with prescription wood conditioining reducing in service shrinking and expension.  Louvres are made of quarter sawn wood to ensuire genrations of stability and durability.  This resultant tight straight grain also enriches the wood character for stain finishes.  For internal use only. Available in a choice of 20 colours or custom colour for an additional surcharge.

FIXED BLADE SHUTTERS

Fixed blade shutters provide the ultimate in room dividers, wardrobe doors, french doors and as privacy screens for windows, courtyards and balconies.  With the option of either a 45mm or 68mm flat blade provides the choice of an open or closed look.
